Changes to the Imagineering Club and Imagineering Basics Club
These two exciting clubs are combining for the summer, and will meet every Wednesday from 3:30-5pm. However, there will not be a meeting on June 22nd or 29th, and resume on Wednesday July 6th for the picnic.
As the small group projects keep pushing forward, Mr. Keith will be getting the clubs back to some lab work as well; splitting time between the two. Since the two clubs will merge for the summer, we will have a basics lab, a new components lab and some project time each week. We will also start sending home what we will be covering the next week with links to information on it so the teens can come in more prepared for what we are covering.
Join us for an 8-week program to explore the complete publishing process. Expand your drawing skills, practice storyboarding, make new friends, and publish your own book! The program will be held every Thursday from either 12:30-2:30pm or 3-5pm, starting on June 16th and ending on August 4th. This free program is for ages 12-17 years. Registration is required. Please contact the circulation desk at (302) 337-7401, ext 101 to sign up.
Stop by the Bridgeville Public Library and check out a copy of "Elizabeth's Field" by local author and educator Barbara Lockhart. This story includes local history from Linchester Mill, East New Market, Vienna, Cambridge, and vicinities in the 1850's.
Then join us on Saturday August 6th at 11am for lunch with the author.
The Bridgeville Library appreciates your consideration in donating your gently used books. However, at this time, we are NOT accepting book donations. We will let you know when we will start acceptiing them again. Thank you for your understanding.
