Children's Programs

Join Ms. Hilary for Story Book Corner on Tuesdays (geared for ages 3-5) and on Wednesdays (for birth-2) both held at 10am at the library. For May, the theme is animals. Join us on Tuesday, May 14th @ 10am with Abbott’s Mill Nature Center for a “Frog Chorus”! Read about Frog and Toad’s adventures on friendship. Meet a live frog and toad! Learn about frogs that live near you and listen to their calls. Become a frog, so you can join the Frog Chorus. Take home your own Froggy-gami. The goal of L.E.A.P. (Literacy Education Assistance Pups) is to improve the literacy skills of children and grow their enthusiasm for reading by using therapy dog teams as literacy mentors. A L.E.A.P. dog is motivating and FUN! We are so excited to have them back at the library. In May, they will be here on May 1st and May 15th.
